Clinical Study of Ceftriaxone Therapy in Various Patients of General Surget y

Abstract
|
|
|
The clinical study for Ceftriaxone has been performed in 40 patients of general surgery those were treated with conservive and prophylactic aid and the result were as follows: 1. One gm of Ceftriaxone once in a day, intravenously was administered for average d or 7 days had good effects.
2. Almost all patients with fever and symptoms had been subsided within 3 to 5 days after application of Ceftriaxone.
3. Only one case(2.5%) with infected pseudomonas aeroginosa had been failed for treatment. 4. Over all cure rate was about 87.5%.
5. Not any significant local or systemic toxic and side effects were observed.
